AARP MedicareRx, insured through UnitedHealthcare, offers two Part D plans.
Both plans include:
- $0 deductible
- Pharmacy Saver (New for 2011) - UnitedHealthcare has negotiated low prescription drug costs for its Medicare Plan members. With the Pharmacy Saver program, members will pay as little as $2 for a 30-day supply on hundreds of prescription drugs at participating pharmacy chains such as Target Pharmacy, HEB, Hy-Vee, Kroger, Publix and Safeway1. - Coverage in the gap - Members will pay about 50% of the cost of most brand-name drugs and 93% of the cost of generic drugs in the gap. The AARP MedicareRx Enhanced (PDP) plan also includes additional coverage for Tier 1 drugs in the coverage gap.
- Extensive drug lists (formularies) - Include thousands of brand-name and generic prescription drugs.
- 60,000+ convenient network pharmacy locations - Fill your prescriptions nationwide.
